TIAA | TIAA.org (public and logged in site) and print communications

  • Write content for digital channels, emails, interative financial tools and print communications.
  • Wrote and edited retail, plan sponsor and article pages for the rebrand of TIAA.org. Pages reflect brand, tone and voice as well as business and legal feedback.
  • Worked with UX to determine UX/content flow for products and services pages.
  • Created the content deck template used for 200 pages in the redesign.
  • Recommended processes that were approved by management and adopted by the team, leading to more efficient collaboration.

MetLife |Customer communications 

  • Wrote and edited auto and home claim status/query letters to make information clear and actionable for retail insurance customers.
  • Improved UX by updating/reorganizing content to tell a concise and easy-to-understand story.
  • Updated and edited existing templates to ensure style guide, internal and template standards were applied throughout.
  • Researched and established readability guidelines for the team. The guidelines were adopted as team standard.

Prudential | Intranet

  • Managed content scheduling and updates for My Prudential, Prudential’s 500 page Intranet serving 20,000 domestic employees.
  • Helped SMEs create and prioritize content for product and service initiatives.
  • Acted as a liaison between SMEs and IT during a content migration from Vignette 6 to WCM.
  • Managed workload/scheduling for two developers in Prudential’s Ireland office.

  • Wrote and edited mortgage and home lending content to make complex terms and concepts clear and actionable for customers.
  • Collaborated with legal, marketing and business SMEs to ensure content was compliant and met branding specs.

  • Our family-run 501c3 non-profit organization helps families with seriously ill preemies and newborns. It was created when our nephew, Michael, passed away from a rare chromosome disorder.
  • Designed and maintain the website.
